Official documents (partly in Spanish) filed in the case of John Kemberling and his sister Barbara against John Gaynor, their step-father, relative to ownership of land in West Feliciana Parish. Included are petitions filed with Carlos de Grand-Pre, governor of the District of Baton Rouge, and continued in the Superior and Third District courts of Louisiana. Among the papers are affidavits, subpoenas, and testimony before Judge Andrew Steel.
